Objective
The objective was to design an identity and label for Space Age Wine. Research and exploration required strict attention to size, material, and application of the label to the size and shape of the varietal’s bottle, as well as hypothetical per-unit cost.

Concept
Space Age Rosé is headed by winemaker, Josh Phelps. The brand was born out of Phelps’ wine- making heritage and inspiration from the night of July 20th, 1969. According to Phelps, “The Space Age label reflects the grounded authenticity of moments past, present, and future.” This label design is for a 2018, Grenache Rosé from California. A geometric, san-serif typeface, such as Futura, characterizes this efficiency and forwardness. More importantly, this is an opportunity to use packaging to make “exploration” an experience for the consumer.

Deliverables
One wine label for a 12” bottle
