Objective
The objective was to design a poster for an event. The poster should make plain the event's details (date, location, etc), but should also tell the viewer its story—what it's like to be there and experience the event.

Concept
The Origami Festival at Japanese Garden is held annually at California State University, Long Beach. It focuses on teaching the audience the Japanese art form of paper folding known as origami. Origami Festival II is a typographic interpretation. The title of the event itself is turned into origami using isometric perspective.
